Pachamama Wines
Wine company branding inspired by traditional Peruvian culture and the typographic style derived from Chicha posters.

Pachamama was inspired by the Chicha culture native to Peru. It is a combination of music, visual art, and life style derived from the cultural backdrop of Peru’s migrant highland natives and mixed race, urban working class.
Characterized by bright colors and bold contours, the so-called “Ficha Chicha” style emerged in the 1980s, parallel to the music. The name Pachamama is the traditional native word for Mother Earth.
