Obsessorize x Marie Claire
In partnership with Marie Claire Magazine, the School of Visual Arts was asked to create accessories out of everyday objects to be displayed in cases along Madison Avenue. Each case, inspired by different decades, held 3-5 art pieces from various students of Kevin O’Callaghans 3D Design class.
For two months my milk and cookie shoes were displayed on the corner of 82nd st. and Madison avenue. I was inspired by milkmen and milk bottles of the 1950’s to create an abstract milk pour platform heel, that rests on over 40 hand-painted sandwich cookies.
